Review of Arthur (2011) by Ross B — 31 May 2012
I'm definitely the minority here seeing that many critics gave this movie a very low rating. I read reviews and comments like why re-make the original Academy award nominated movie (which I haven't seen) with the unlikeable Russell Brand (whom I'm a fan) that Dudley Moore so notably defined. But I don't care, I'm giving this version 5 stars. That's how much I liked it!
This movie had a dynamic cast that I thought worked well together. It did have some raucous comedy but I felt it also had wit and charm. It had me laughing out loud and even crying. It's a fun feel-good movie.
