Mediocre and unnecessary remake that would even tax the most ardent Russell Brand fan. It drags instead of being fun. On a positive note, Mumblecore regular Greta Gerwig is like a ray of sunshine as the love interest.
Give this girl more romantic comedies. Better to go back to better manchild comedies such as the original, Big or Brewster's Millions.
