Review of Arthur 2: On the Rocks (1988) by Ville T — 03 Nov 2007
Not sure if there should have been a sequel. Less engaging though more human as Arthur has to restart his life at rock bottom. Gielgud makes a minor appearance as the spirit of his earlier character. Relies heavily on Moore and even more on Minnelli.
Gets better toward the end, but not as inspired as the original.
