Review of Art School Confidential (2006) by Tracy H — 07 Oct 2007
A lot of this movie was actually pretty good, problem is, they were all the parts that didn't have anything to do with the actual plot. The main character's story started out alright, but soon just got annoying and pointless and distracted from the funny parts with the decent characters.
Having been an art student for many years I had high hopes for this movie, and certain parts lived up to those hopes; the stereotypical art class students, John Malkovich as the "brilliant" instructor, the art class model/muse that everyone is in love with.
Even the murder plot could have been saved if they just cut out the main character.
