Review of Art School Confidential (2006) by Alan J — 15 Dec 2007
Like the art class scenes in the fabulous 'Ghost World' extended to feature length, except this movie is absurdist yet dully resentful where 'Ghost World' was wryly satirical yet heartfelt.
Poorly timed jokes land with a thud, characters never move beyond mean-spirited art-school stereotypes and the story is just a complete nonsensical waste of time, particularly in the final act.
