Review of Art School Confidential (2006) by Benjamin V — 01 Jan 2008
A half-assed attempt at satire, which disintegrates as the plot develops into a campy, predictable 'dark' love story. Could have done well as a comedy, but the tragic elements seem to be the writer's or director's self-absorbed 'expression of creativity.
' Also, John Malkovich will never not be creepy.
