Review of Art School Confidential (2006) by Adam P — 18 May 2008
There's at two or three completely different kinds of movies here and they don't work together at all. Each piece is good but would be better off as its own independent story instead of a single whole.
The main character becomes increasingly unlikable until I didn't give a shit about him at all anymore. The movie I watched isn't the one they were marketing it as when it was released to theatres and I can't believe Ebert and Roeper gave this thing two thumbs up.
Maybe if it were made into two separate flicks.
