Review of Art School Confidential (2006) by Marcus B — 05 Jun 2010
To be perfectly honest, I saw this one only because of Sophia Myles. I'm afraid that if this is the best script she can get, then there won't be many more occassions to see her in the movies. The flick itself is pretty awful - it has good intentions of rudiculing the pertentiousness of art scene, but in the end it not only became a parody of itself, but also managed to creep me out on a couple of occassions.
And not in a 'good way'. The funny thing is that if the script writer took a couple of different turns, this movie could have been a pretty decent thriller.
