Review of Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) by Megan W — 05 Jan 2008
This is such a fabulously funny movie. I dont' think it would be the same without the overacting done by cary grant to sort of contrast by the very calm, natural roles of his insane aunts and brothers.
the irony there really adds something to the film itself. my favorite character has to be the brother, teddy, who believes himself to be teddy roosevelt and every time he'd yell charge or go "digging in panama" I just couldn't stop laughing.
