Review of Arrival (2016) by Daryl L — 03 Mar 2017
Not your usual sci-fi action film. Think of it more as a drama/thriller instead because it really isn't an action film. It's more about how Amy Adams' character tries to communicate with the aliens from a pod which mysteriously lands on Earth (there are 11 more of those elsewhere).
Are the aliens there for peace or war? Go find out yourself :) Oh, by the way, Adams was robbed of an Oscar nomination.
