Made with the visible skill of masters of the crafts of directing, acting, editing, score, writing and more, Arrival is a heartfelt labor of love for Denis Villeneuve, Shawn Levy, and Ted Chiang. It plays with the strings of your heart by being so developed that it feels raw and unpolished in a way that only a master filmmaker can pull off.
It's incredibly timely story of grief, tolerance, and above all, perception aim to amaze and astound, and it's aim is true. All is good with this power piece, giving us the most perfect alien film of all time.
