Review of Arrival (2016) by Nowell M — 28 Apr 2017
An advance alien race comes to Earth to give a love-lorn linguist precognition so that she can meet her future husband, give birth to a child doomed to die early, and get divorced over her decision not to abort the fetus.
One of the most unbelievable narratives I've ever seen or read (and I read a lot). Add in the agonizingly slow pacing, and you have a real waste of hype and time.
