I was hugely disappointed with this movie. After all the hype and thiz being billed as thinking person's film, I found that it was not this at all. It was not explained how the linquist figured out the language.

It would seem that some telepathic link was at work, but then they wouldn't need all that bizaare drawing stuff. As to production values, the blu ray disc (and maybe the film as well) was so dark much of the details were lost in the shadows.

When thw subtitles were shown in the one seen dark letters were placec over dark images. Pathetic! I gave the movie 2 stars because I actually made it to the end but then sat there and said WTF. As to the emotional content so many rave about, it didn't work on me.
