Review of Arrival (2016) by Adpirtle — 20 Feb 2017
Arrival is not an exciting movie. That's not the point of it. It's a character study and a film about ideas. If you are into that sort of thing, you'll absolutely love it. If you aren't, you'll probably tear your hair out.
I'm in the former camp, so for me this movie ticked all of my boxes. I can't think of a way it could have been better.
