What initially seems like a sci-fi film about an alien takeover is really the starting point to explore deep themes of unification, connection, and the unique emotional experiences that bridges us as humans beings which transcend time and space.
A beautiful, moving, and complex exploration of nearly spiritual themes of the human experience. The aliens are really just a way in but it's less about them and more about us. Great movie.
