Good film. Entertaining. A bit overrated in my humble opinion however. The music and the weaving of scene to scene was brilliant. The story was interesting, the acting wonderful... It just didn't hit me as an amazing out-of-this-world film! See what I did there? Highly recommend Denis' previous films Prisoners and Sicario.

Those hit me with a ton of bricks! Jaw-dropping, seamless suspense. Arrival had me hooked, just fell a tad bit flat at the end. Again, good, enjoyable, well crafted, I guess I've just been spoiled by Denis' previous work.
