Review of Arrival (2016) by Joey B — 11 Apr 2017

This was in my opinion, one of the best cast, produced and directed movies I've seen in a long time. Settings couldn't have been better for most every scene and while you aren't blown away by their interpretations of so called "aliens", it really isn't an alien movie. It's an Amy Adams movie and she doesn't disappoint. The themed music, tug at emotion when you realize what the movie is all about and supporting cast adding an lightening air to a really dark theme was either by accident or brilliant.

You truly have to watch this movie a few times before really really enjoying it. One of my favorite all around movies since The Revenant and a completely different premise. Brilliant!
