Review of Arrival (2016) by Cork B — 10 Mar 2018
This kept my attention - I enjoy a movie that makes you think a bit and not just 'blast aliens'. I also usually enjoy time travel flicks, but this didn't sit right with me - I am not a fan of movies and books that skip around with the timeline (although I know that is the point).
Did not enjoy the atmosphere of the movie. I know it was to set tone, but it was dark and hard to hear in a lot of places.
I also find it hilarious that when the world is faced with an alien threat, humans do what humans do best - loot, riot and sell their stocks. That probably WOULD be what happens.
