Even if Amy Adams' performance was the best part of Arrival, it still doesn't save this movie from being one of the worst films I have ever seen. Why was this movie terrible? Well, it was incredibly bland and boring at almost ever level, the pacing was incomprehensibly awful, the story was horribly written in ways I never thought would be possible and the 2nd half and the unanswered questions were why Arrival was one of the most bland and boring films I have seen in recent years.
