Review of Around the Bend (2004) by Kylie B — 19 Apr 2008
I bought this from the Triple M closet when I worked for Austereo, and it remained in it's plastic wrap for the past year or so. I soon realised I'd seen it before but it was entertaining. Dysfunctional families - is there any other kind? Josh Lucas is a big hunk of spunk, Christopher Walken dances funny, the kid is cute and Michael Caine plays a convincing old fart.
The music sucked but the scenery made up for it. Good DVD to rent if there's nothing on TV.
