Review of Around the Bend (2004) by Vanessa L — 29 Mar 2007
Cast: Michael Caine (Henry Lair), Jonah Bobo (Zach Lair), Josh Lucas (Jason Lair), Glenne Headly (Katrina), Christopher Walken (Turner Lair), David Eigenberg (John).
I unexpectedly enjoyed this film. Around the Bend brings together four generations of men who go on a road trip across the southwest in search of answers regarding their family history. Essentially, I felt that it was a film about discovering who you are, and how the effects of the past shape your future and who you become. Loved Walken and Caine?s performances, and also enjoyed KFC as a ?meeting? place in each city..
