Before director Sam Raimi starting making Spider-Man movies, he was responsible for one of the coolest and most inventive film series ever..The Evil Dead trilogy. The first film was a pure horror fest with a little humor thrown into and the sequel delivered even more off the wall humor. But for the third flick Raimi went all out to make this totally awesome comedy/horror. Our returning hero Ash (played by the super Bruce Campbell) finds himself thanks to a time warp, in the Middle Ages and must now battle the army of the dead for possession of the Book of the Dead. Said book holds the information on returning our hero back home. So he leads the local folk into battle against the dead for one rip roaring super cool face off. It's all in good fun and you really wish Raimi and Campbell would make a 4th movie to show what Ash has been up to the last 16 years. Not for everyone's taste though, but if you wanna see something different, then this is the movie to see. Oh there's a quick cameo by Bridget Fonda at the beginning. And plenty of one-liners galore from my man Ash. Good stuff.

Ash: [to the Witch] Yo, she-bitch! Let's go!

Ash: Maybe. Just maybe my boys can protect the book. Yeah, and maybe I'm a Chinese jet pilot.
