Review of Armored (2009) by Corey B — 01 Aug 2010
Solid action film doesn't break any new ground, but covers old ground with style and enough tension to make it worthwhile. It's a shame that the first half doesn't give the characters that much depth (beyond your typical struggles with money), since the second half would have benefitted from some first act fleshing out (Laurence Fishburne's character in particular feels like he's dying to get a juicy moment, and just never really does).
