Review of Armored (2009) by Steve M — 22 Sep 2010
It had its moments, but in the long run, it just fell short. After a while you would think some people could come to their senses and just throw up their hands, turning themselves in. This movie apparently said, "No they wouldn't." No matter how many dead bodies started piling up and how many of their guys started to lose it, they decided that they were going to get that money and then... well the rest would figure itself out.
Still, rather compelling performances from a very impressive stack of A-List actors. However, their greatness still did not save this film from mediocrity. It was a decent plot and a pretty good build-up of characters, but in the end we had to just look at it as continuous bloody eye-candy. After all of that, they still couldn't get that damn door open.
