Review of Armored (2009) by Bob S — 30 Mar 2011

I was happy to see that not every action movie for the 18â"35 male demographic has to be excessive, over-bearing eye candy. This film has some well directed heart-pounding, intense action sequences from mostly the inside of an armored vehicle.

There were more notable actors starring than I remembered from the previews even though the protagonist was portrayed effectively by the relative unknown Short. In addition to the clichà (C) story of men turning to crime as a means of responding to the economy and tough times, the script is also filled with many inconsistencies with timing, characters and authenticity.
