Although it is usually written off as "another Michael Bay vehicle that strives to be the best with flashy special effects and no 'storyline' or 'character development,'" I enjoyed it.
Though it is long, Bruce Willis, Liv Tyler, Ben Affleck, and Billy Bob Thornton give amazing performances. While Steve Buscemi, the late Michael Clarke Duncan, Ken Hudson Campbell, and (briefly) Owen Wilson give hilarious performances.
