Review of Arizona Dream (1993) by Petros T — 25 Jan 2011
Breathtaking photography, innovative direction, a daring, brave cast, a marvellous score by Goran Bregovic (standout tracks include "Get The Money", "In The Deathcar" and "TV Screen" sang uniquely by Iggy Pop) and a complex, brilliant script set in Arizona during the decay of the American Dream.
The first part is absolutely excellent, one of the most profoundly experimental films I've ever seen. Then at some point it goes a bit over the top but remains a deep film that challenges both mind and soul.
