Review of Argo (2012) by Ricardo A — 06 Feb 2015
As Ben Affleck's 3rd time directing he picks a very interesting but thrilling story (which so happens to be based on real events). But really Ben Affleck does a great Job at not only directing but acting in this thrilling oscar winning drama about a CIA agent who devices a dangerous plan to act as a film producer in order to rescue 6 Americans in Tehran.
The fact that Ben Affleck has now turned to directing he's somewhat reinventing himself in Hollywood which is good because in the 2000's his movie career took a nose dive for a couple of years but hey it doesn't matter anymore he's back in the acting game and it's cool that he's the new batman next year and don't care what anyone else says I'm thrilled he's batman, sure I wished Christian bale would stay as batman but he's busy.
I thought the premise was very interesting and brilliant how someone who's in the CIA actually thought of this risky plan because you'd have to be really smart to pull that off.
