Review of Argo (2012) by Dominic Martin A — 24 Nov 2013
Intense, teeth-clenching, and heart-pounding, Argo had me at the edge of the seat the entire second half. Affleck not only delivers tension-filled action scenes without the use of guns as a director, but also a deep charismatic lead as an actor.
Affleck isn't the only one who performed well, as you can see the effort the entire cast had put in their respective roles, with each line of dialogue executed near perfectly. The 120 minutes you invest in the movie feels like 45, as the great acting, polt, editing, pacing, and sound keep your mind preoccupied.
