Review of Argo (2012) by Bill B — 23 May 2015

Argo Fuck You! That's the premise of the story. A movie based on another true story about six Americans who were hiding in the Canadian Minister's house in Tehran. Tony Mendez played by Ben Affleck to create a fake production company and a fake movie called Argo.

Affleck did a great job directing this movie but I wish he took a back seat with the main character. I think Diego Luna would have been a better choice. Other than the hostage crisis in 1979, I never heard of this story so it was hard to be patriotic.

The beginning and end of the movie were filled with action edge of your seat drama, the rest was okay. Definitely worth watching once.
