Review of Are You Scared 2 (2009) by Clint L — 26 Feb 2018

I never saw Are You scared 1. I doubt it would have helped. First warning - have Aspirin on hand. These guys couldn't afford a tripod.

So there's some kind of geo caching game going on and four millennials are going for the final find but really it's some kind of a torture palace where viewers pay to watch the shenanigans. Nothing makes sense. Tony Todd is here. He's always watchable - except in this film. He clearly was on set for a day. He's intercut through the film sitting in a dark room controlling the game and mumbling. He's got two henchmen who do his torturing for him. Warning 2 - at one point the "good" guys manage to get one of the guys down but then they run away so that he can come back later and kill a few of them. I know this always sends most discernible viewers around the bend. Warning 3: Only at the very end does it occur to anyone to arm themselves.

The actors play the script instead of their surroundings. I should have played tiddly winks instead of watching this.
