Review of Are We Done Yet? (2007) by Daniel L — 16 Feb 2009
:fresh: Based on the 1948 movie, Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream House, Are We Done Yet? is the sequel to the 2005 comedy Are We There Yet? Now Nick (Ice Cube) is married to Suzanne (Nia Long), mother of the meanest kids on the planet, Lindsay (Aleshia Allen) and Kevin (Phillip Daniel Bolden). After Suzanne announces she is pregnant, they decide to move to a bigger house. They buy a wretched house that needs improvement from Chuck (John C. Mcginely) and Nice goes through conflicts with a raccoon, a crazy sturgeon and bats in the chimeny. So will he find this home.
Are We Done Yet? is better than most reviewers said. McGinely's role was brilliant and Ice Cube wasn't that bad. Are We Done Yet? is a good film for kids, and some people have to really lighten up.
