Review of Are We Done Yet? (2007) by Francisco R — 08 Jan 2012
Funny and entertaining sometimes, basicly nothing more than that. I honeslty didn't know this was a sequel, I have no interest on watching the first movie, but I liked this movie. The cast is not awful, uce Cube plays a character that doesn't bring anything new.
Nick Persons (Ice Cube) and his family, Suzzanne Persons, his wife (Nia Long) and her kids, decide to live in other house, I mean, only Nick wants that a lot for him to have more space and create a good invairment for his soon twins.
The family meets at the open-house the owner of the house Chuck (Jonh C. McGinley), who shows that the house is great, but, after Nick and the rest of the family start to live in that house, the house just seems to be the opposite of what they thought it was.
The house is just terring a part and they will have to fix everything, facing several dangerous stuff and also facing the Chuck's several personalitys. Will the Persons be able to finish putting their whole house well? Overall, this movie has a good story, but it cood have been used better, this movie, even though I have watched it more than once, I think it cood have been better, if it just had a better cast, if it was just more rated PG-13, as I like to say, and it cood also be better in some other aspects.
Recommended movie. Grade: C.
