Review of Architects of Denial (2017) by T T — 14 Oct 2017
This is an incredibly powerful film that candidly and unapologetically depicts not only the barbaric actions of the Turks during the Armenian Genocide in 1915 but also the ongoing genocide of the Azeri Turks against the Armenians in modern day Nagorno Karabagh.
The film explores the direct connection between the denial of the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish Government (and the refusal of the US government to recognize it as Genocide) on the commission of countless genocides against other ethnicities throughout the world including the Jewish Holocaust and the Genocide in Rwanda, among others.
A very important film indeed, made thoughtfully and with a great deal of heart.
