As someone who hates spiders I can tell you this is definitely creepy.
Not for the storyline, but for the screen shots of all those dirty critters.
I know this film is laughable, hence john goodmans role is perfect plus the ending with a nailgun was a bit like shooting a facehugger, completely ridiculous.
Despite this nonsense I still enjoyed it.
