Fantastic. One of my favorite superhero movies of all time. Not only do I love the basic plot of the movie, but I am also a fan of how the story and culture of the movie was transformed from the original comics- it is diversified not only to fit the Polynesian background of the casted actor (Jason Mamoa), but to challenge the stereotypical ideal of a superhero, creating a more realistic and impressive image.
This movie challenges what it means to be a superhero, and Jason Momoa becomes the presence we didn't know we needed until now. Thank god we are finally seeing this type of superhero. A must see.
