One of the best films of the year (not just superhero movie). All the hate are probably the results of past DC movies, and Aquaman has no female lead so it can't be a good movie.... my goodness, do people now expect the movie to be consistent with your ideology to get a good review?
This movie is fun, great story, develops characters, with serious tone when it needs to be. It brings back the days of letting a movie be a movie - entertainment for people that wanted to be in a fantasy world for 2 hours of their lives. Not going into the theater to be lectured on. A rare movie that will make you want to go back in the theater to watch a 2nd or 3rd time.
