Review of Aquaman (2018) by Dave S — 02 Jan 2019

Turn your brain off and watch the spectacle that is Aquaman. While I enjoyed it this flick a lot, it's far from a superb film. Pacing issues and choppy dialog and humor plague the first two thirds of the film, as it tries to figure out what it wants to be in theme and tone.

But the third act is fixed this for me as the titular character comes into his own. In a sense it's a very flashy coming of age story.
