Although Aquaman boasts some fun combat sequences and Jason Momoa's blunt charisma, its charms are more difficult to enjoy when juxtaposed against the film's simplistic, uninspired script and overblown Lord of the Rings ripoff action sequences.
Instead of watching Aquaman, just watch Black Panther and Thor Ragnarok back to back; the runtime will feel about the same too.
