Review of Aquaman (2018) by Eric S — 21 Dec 2018

Although it is not the greatest superhero movie of all time and, in my opinion, not the best of the DCEU movies, Aquaman is a fun blockbuster superhero movie with amazing action and solid acting. I like the campy approach that they took to a campy superhero.

I am happy to see that the DCEU may be recognizing that not all of their superheroes should be given the "dark and gritty" treatment that is only suitable for anti-heroes such as Batman. The tone of this movie fit perfectly for the Aquaman character and the effects were amazing! This was definitely one of the most fun movies of 2018 that I saw and I hope the DCEU continues on this.
