Review of Aquaman (2018) by Jacob S — 21 Dec 2018
In yet another needless installment of the dreadfully way past its sell-by date DC Extended Universe, James Wan's Aquaman hurdles head-first into a bombastic CGI-fest replete with painstakingly dull humor, exposition-filled pedestrian dialogue, unsubtle music scoring and god-awful acting.
As bumbling as its grunting protagonist, Aquaman once again demonstrates the DC vision of Zack Snyder and Geoff Johns is capable of nothing but false starts (No, Wonder Woman was not a great film).
