It was a wonderful ride and more than I've expected from Mr. Wan.
The visuals are wonderful, the underwater scenes are beautiful.
Story is well-written and there's more than enough explanation about everything you see in the movie. I feel the runtime of this movie is a good amount. Jason and Amber are a great team and you see the chemistry popping of the screen. Last but not least: that Aquaman costume he gets at the end! Wow!
