Review of Aquaman (2018) by Damien B — 22 Dec 2018
Here's the thing... I will probably pay to see it again... I've literally only ever said that about 2 other movies... I can't believe I'm actually not cringing at the idea of shelling out more money to see it.
That is not to say it didn't have issues... I mean some of the lovely dovey shit felt corny and forced, but for what it lacked in those parts, it more than made up for in badassness. There is also so much lore about Aquaman's world released that it leaves you wanting more.
Patrick Wilson's past acting in is The Conjuring and Insidious, leave you already thinking of him as a villain, and it seems like this might just be the role he was born to play. Heard is gorgeous!!! Willem Dafoe, is great!!! And.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's black manta film adaptation, may be the single best translation from comic book to screen, for a villain, of all time. If you disagree with me, then you're probably a fan boy, or are being paid by Disney, to give universal bad reviews #fakenews #nocolusion (these are not endorsement statements for Trump, they are jokes my way making fun of him(for being and idiot), me making fun of the media(and it's often bias opinion), and it's portrayal of him) lmfao.
Go see this movie!!!
