Review of Aquaman (2018) by Micah B — 22 Dec 2018

I've never written a movie review before, but this movie was so good I had to. This movie is a treat, and is honestly my favorite movie I've seen all year (sorry marvel). Aquaman's character was well-developed and Jason Mamoa did a great job giving the character life and depth of emotion.

The visual effects and action scenes are stunning, especially in 3D. I'm still not sure how they made all the characters' hair imitate real underwater motion they say they did, but I really felt as if I was underwater with them.

Unlike most superhero films, the story was able to emotionally draw me in causing me to enjoy the slow, personal scenes as much as the action scenes. Sorry RT critics, but most of you got this one wrong again.

Definitely recommend seeing this movie (and in 3d if that's your thing).
