Review of Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters (2007) by Lee T — 17 Feb 2008

The Aqua Teen movie adaptation sticks two fingers up in the face of narrative form and cohesion and has to be applauded for not attempting to dilute its style and attempt to appease an audience who may never have seen the show.

In fact if anything the creators by extending the format to 80 minutes, have made a film that is even less accessible than the show. For fans though this is a surrealistic odyssey of the highest calibre, the film almost riffs away in a stream of consciousness style, seemingly making the plot up as they go along and is all the better for it.
