Review of Apt Pupil (1998) by April M — 04 Nov 2007
I caught this movie on Showtime this morning. I read the King novella five years ago and found it completely fascinating. While McKellan is phenomenal as always, I must say I was rather disappointed in the film.
I can't seem to understand why filmmakers always feel the need to change a Stephen King ending. Clearly he knows what he's doing; let the story play out the way it should.
