Some decent action (thanks John Woo!), but the animation is as lifeless as the storyline, which seems hellbent on dumbing it down so much that it could only be enjoyed by one-celled organisms. The finale - a ludicrous mix of Tranformers, Independence Day, and The Matrix, with a "final boss" that seems to be the love child of Doctor Octopus and the Borg Queen - is the final nail in the coffin.
An absolute mess. Watch Vexille instead.
