Review of Appleseed: Ex Machina (2007) by Jon T — 25 Mar 2008

Definately a worthy sequel to the Appleseed film from a couple years back. The CG tech has been stepped up and there's clearly a marked improvement in both the visuals themselves and the fluidity of movement and timing.

The plot isn't quite as deep and consuming as the first one, but the action doesn't strat far from the throat and in the end it's a great ride. A fun movie and worth the watch -- but you should definately check out the first one before you dive in.
