Excellent animation, special effects and action scenes. For your own sanity, ignore the plot, dialogue and any attempts at drama. Occasionally ranks very high on the unintentional comedy scale. Despite the stupid, intended-as-futuristic conceits and (in keeping with the title) deus ex machina moments, this movie is a technical achievement that is worth seeing.
