Review of Appleseed: Ex Machina (2007) by Kai H — 30 May 2008

Better than the last Appleseed movie, this one has a better plot, character interactions and animation. However, the issue with 3D animation is that sometimes it's hard to express emotion and sense of weight with this technology and this movie shows these flaws clearly.

So much in fact that it takes the audience away from the film itself. Other than that, this is a nice little popcorn flick for the weekend.
